Surgical Procedure

Our office performs surgical procedures at Providence Alaska Medical Center, Alaska Regional Hospital and the Surgery Center of Anchorage.

After your initial visit with one of our doctors, you will be seen by our Surgery Scheduler and your surgery will be scheduled at the hospital of your preference or your insurance preference.

Our Surgery Scheduler will go over all pre/post operative instructions, including directions for bowel preparation if needed.

Our office will provide you a financial estimate of your procedure, and will assist you with your insurance authorization.

Once you are scheduled, you’ll need to pre-register and have lab work completed at the scheduled hospital.

If you are having anesthesia or sedation of any sort, you will need to bring a responsible adult to drive you home.

Your health and peace of mind is our number one concern, so please contact us if you have any questions after your surgery.

Our office staff will be happy to provide you with the help and support you need post-operatively.
